This track is named after a painting by the artist Riki Chen (as seen above). Inspired by Chen’s resilient creative spirit, Sage wrote this song in tribute to him.
The fifth annual 4Knots Music Festival will take place next Saturday, July 11th, at Pier 84 in Hudson River Park and we over at Lucy Out Loud are so excited to be covering it! The event, which takes place from 1pm to 10pm, features performances from Super Furry Animals, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Mikal Cronin, Screaming Females and Twin Peaks, amongst others.
Though the event had been free to the public in the past, this year 4Knots will be a ticketed event with proceeds benefiting Friends of Hudson River Park. There are two ticket options available: general admission (all ages) for $25 and VIP (21+) for $50. Planning on going with some friends? A special 4Knots 4Pack is also available – buy 3 tickets, get 1 free (for a limited time)! Did we mention that kids under 10 can get in for free with an adult? All of the deals! Tickets can be found on sale here.
