We are excited to premiere “Teenage Evolution,” the brand new single from Swedish pop/rock duo Love In October. For brothers Erik and Kent Widman, limitations are hardly a burden but rather a tool to be used. But don’t take it from us: “‘Teenage Evolution’ is more about a feeling than a theme,” Erik said about the track. “It’s the feeling of hopping in a convertible, driving down highway 101 with the wind blowing in your hair, and not having a care in the world. We tried to capture the feeling of summer, love, and youth wrapped into 3 minutes of pop bliss.”
On Love in October III, the band’s first release since 2011, the duo used minimal equipment within a strict time restriction, resulting in fresh, snappy pop that shows no sign of the four-year hiatus that preceded.
